Even before opening an Indian restaurant in 2003, Neelofar was championing the cause of helping small businesses and charities by offering strong support to the community. She has been a member of local authority enterprise boards and held various other volunteer posts, including being vice chair of Chamber of Commerce. Neelofar launched ZABARDAST, The Indian Wrap company in 2013. It now has 7 company-owned stores in high profile areas in London and Bluewater, in addition to 2 central kitchens and another restaurant. The hub and spoke concept caters for breakfast, lunch and evening, with customer configuring their own wraps with homemade, healthy fillings and sauces. The on-trend, to go brand embraces various dietary options including, vegan, vegetarian, halal, gluten free, etc. ZABARDAST is now looking to expand nationally and internationally through clear vision, strategy, drive and ambition.
